The Writing Works Group is a niche boutique publisher focused upon delivering quality literature, both novels and short stories, by the award-winning author, Katherine Owen. Owen won the Zola Award and First Place with the Pacific Northwest Writers Association in July 2010 with her novel, Seeing Julia. Winning the coveted Zola Award helped launch Owen's career in writing contemporary fiction. In spring 2012, her novels became bestsellers in the categories of: literary, literary fiction, contemporary fiction, and American Drama on Amazon's coveted Best Seller lists.

Katherine Owen has written three novels, Seeing Julia, Not To Us, and When I See You. She is busy working on her fourth novel tentatively titled, This Much Is True, with an expected release of Fall 2012.

Owen's writing delves into the complexities of relationships and often from both love and loss perspectives because as an author she enjoys the unpredictability and uniqueness she finds there.
